I attended the November 30, 2023, Camden County Commission meeting at 10:00 a.m.

All commissioners were present.
It was a full house because of the first agenda item: Service Awards Recognition.
Presiding Commissioner Skelton explained that he wanted to present the service awards to county employees at a public meeting so they could be publicly acknowledged for all of their years of county service. He personally handed out all of the awards to each deserving employee and then they posed for a group picture.
The next agenda item was 231130 Printing Bid Opening.
There were two bids received. One was from Alpha Graphics and the other was from Lake Printing. The bids offered a menu of pricing for various contracted printing services.
The Commission voted unanimously to table the bids for review by the Purchasing Department.
The third agenda item was 231130 Sign Material Bid Opening.
There were two bids for sign material. One was from Custom Products and the other bid was from Missouri Solutions.
The Commission voted unanimously to table the bids for review by the E-911 Department.
The final agenda item was Operations/Management and Accounting Contracts for Sewer Districts in the County.
The Sewer Board had previously met and voted to accept K&M Clean Water LLC for operational maintenance of the county sewer system and Accurate Accounting Tax Service for their accounting contract.
These are 5 year contracts, but they are renewable each year after the first. The maintenance bid was chosen from several different bidders.
The Commission voted unanimously to accept the recommendation of the Sewer Board and approve the contracts.
And that was that.
