The Author
The author was fortunate to graduate from Duke University on an ROTC scholarship and served in the US Army, leaving active duty service after 4 years as a Captain in the Military Police. Although he had never lived in a big city, he then was offered a spot in the LAPD Police Academy and moved to Los Angeles to become an LAPD patrol officer. He recently retired as a Lieutenant from the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office where he specialized in political and judicial system integrity investigations, cyber crime, child pornography investigations, and computer/mobile device forensics. As retirement approached, he moved his family to Camden County in the great state of Missouri. Both sides of his family are from Mexico, MO and he has finally found a home in mid-Missouri. He also is uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. It just looks weird.
