I attended the June 6, 2024, Camden County Commission meeting at 10:00 a.m.
All commissioners were present.
The first agenda item was LEST Budget Amendment.
This amendment was for reimbursement from Newton County for glass that was broken during a prisoner transport. It wasn’t specified whether the glass was broken by a prisoner or some other cause.
The amendment was approved unanimously.
The second agenda item was Sewer Board Appointment – Annette Richards.
Unfortunately, one of the members of the Sewer Board recently passed away. Annette Richards was nominated to replace that member.
This appointment was approved unanimously.
The final agenda item was Annual CART Funds Distribution to Horseshoe Bend Special Road District.
The Commission voted unanimously to distribute the Horseshoe Bend Special Road District’s share of the CART funds: $414,494.71.
