All commissioners were present.
There were only a few of us in attendance besides the Camden County employees who normally attend.
The first agenda item was the LANEG (Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group) equitable sharing agreement. This was $251,000 in funding received from asset forfeitures. This money is received quarterly and it is used to pay for equipment and other expenses associated with LANEG. According to the auditor, the Camden County Sheriff’s Office has six employees who work with LANEG and the money helps to pay their salaries.
The LANEG agreement passed unanimously.
The second agenda item was for Budget Amendments.
$13,305 was moved from Maintenance Misc to Equipment for the Tax Collector so they can buy new equipment.
$6,000 was moved from the Prosecuting Attorney’s Supplies line item to Training.
These amendments were approved unanimously.
And that was that.
