I just wanted to let the readers know that there has been a recent Camden County court decision on March 14, 2022 that may impact short term rentals in Camden County. Presiding Commissioner Greg Hasty mentioned this decision at last night’s Commission meeting and said it will be addressed at the earliest possible time by the Commission.
There is a Camden County Commission meeting scheduled for March 25 (Friday) at 10:00 a.m. As is typical of most Commission agendas, the agenda item is mysteriously described as “P&Z Revisions”. You can bet that this meeting is going to be the one that “addresses” this court order.
As the case posted below progressed through the court system, Camden County’s Unified Land Use Code was undergoing revisions. Attorney Greg Williams was the attorney who was tasked by the Commission to revise the Unified Land Use Code for Camden County.
