The Gadfly attended the August 18, 2022 Camden County Commission meeting at 10:00 a.m.
All commissioners were present.
There were 4 people in the audience besides the usual Camden County employees who attend. Ike Skelton was one of those who were present.
The first agenda item was PZ22-0096 Mustang Sally Ln in Roach Rezone from R-1 to A-1. The property is 11.2 acres and is compliant for A-1 zoning. Mustang Sally Lane is privately maintained. The Planning and Zoning Board voted 7-0 in favor of the re-zone.
The property owner was present, but he declined to speak publicly. Nobody else was present for or against the re-zone.
This re-zone was approved unanimously.
The second agenda item was PZ22-0109 Stanfield in Camdenton Rezone B-2 to A-R. The Planning and Zoning Board voted 7-0 in favor of the re-zone. The property owner was present, but she declined to speak publicly. Nobody else was present for or against the re-zone.
This re-zone was approved unanimously.
The final agenda item was the Assessor Bid Acceptance. The Assessor recommended that the Commission approve the bid for the assessment list printing and mailing. This year’s bid was $3,000 more than last year.
This bid was accepted unanimously.
