March 16, 2023 Camden County Commission meeting at 1:00 p.m.

I attended the March 16, 2023 Camden County Commission meeting at 1:00 p.m.

Commissioners Gohagan and Skelton were present. Commissioner Williams wasn’t there. I’m not sure if his absence was cattle-related.

The meeting was held in the conference room of the Commission Building.

The first agenda item was Health Department Medical Director.

The Camden County Health Department has been without a Medical Director for a few weeks, but it looks like Dr. Livek from Lake Regional Hospital has expressed interest in filling that role for Camden County. This will allow the Health Department to resume medical services that involve shots and blood tests.

(And it was announced on March 17 that she has accepted that position.)

The second agenda item was Osage Beach ARPA Funds.

Osage Beach originally made this request on February 7, 2023 and I wrote about that meeting here.

Osage Beach will receive $101,113.03 in ARPA funding from Camden County.

The Commission approved this unanimously.

And that was that.
