September 12, 2024, Camden County Commission meeting at 10:00 a.m.

I attended the September 12, 2024, Camden County Commission meeting at 10:00 a.m.

All commissioners were present.

The first agenda item was Sheriff – MOU w/Climax Springs School District – reporting incidents of assault that occur on school grounds.

A representative from the Sheriff’s Office explained that this agreement was related to juvenile crimes that were minor assaults and how they would be handled by the deputies. The school is a mandatory reporter, but this agreement would relieve the district of the need to report insignificant incidents to police and allow them to handle them internally even though they might technically meet the letter of the law for assault. (For example, two third graders shoving each other in a lunch line.)

The commissioners approved this MOU unanimously.

The second agenda item was Dr. Frank to discuss voting integrity, voting machines, and election integrity.

Dr. Douglas Frank has been giving presentations on election integrity since the 2020 election. I’ll provide a link to one of his presentations here and give a brief summary of what he told the Commission.

Frank advocated for using statistical analysis of the voter rolls to identify potential issues with voter registration. His biggest concern was that Missouri county clerks have relied too much on the State of Missouri to ensure that the voter rolls have been reviewed and scrubbed for accuracy. He stressed that the statistics should essentially be used to identify potential issues that could then be investigated by sending people out to canvas the voting population and determine if there were any actual problems.

Frank’s examination of the Camden County voter rolls indicated to him that the number of registered voters was suspiciously high when it was compared to the total number of adults aged 18 years or more. This might indicate that voters were not being removed from the records when they died, left the county, or otherwise should have been removed from the county records.

He advised the commissioners that Missouri county clerk should be responsible for maintaining accurate voter records at the local level. He recommended that the Commission appoint a Camden County Election Commission to investigate any potential discrepancies and make recommendations to the Commission.

He also offered the services of a “white hat” network penetration tester who could probe Camden County’s network security for vulnerabilities. The Commission voted unanimously to take Dr. Frank up on this offer.

And that was that.

    1. Came here to say this. Frank is a high school math teacher who’s asinine polynomial nonsense has been thoroughly debunked for years now.

Why the commission wasted time entertaining this conspiracy theorist is beyond me.

  1. It is absolutely baffling that anyone would take Frank’s assertions as fact, especially considering he’s a known conspiracy theorist. His claims have been as thoroughly debunked as Mike Lindell’s, who bankrolls Frank, including by republicans (like the AL and OH Secretaries of State). I’m not sure why the commission wasted its time giving Frank (who is not a Dr., by the way – he’s a high school math teacher) an audience.
