I attended the June 3, 2025, Camden County Commission meeting at 10:00 a.m.
Commissioners Skelton and Dougan were present.
The only agenda item was “First Public Hearing – Business Park Road, Linn Creek – Speed Limit Reduction and Commercial Truck Traffic Restriction.”
This was the first of three meetings required by statute to reduce the speed limit for a county road. The Commission is considering reducing the speed limit for the portion of Business Park Road east of the quarry to 25 MPH and restricting commercial trucks to local deliveries only.
Nobody was present to oppose this change. Several residents were present to support it.
The next meeting on this matter was scheduled for June 5, 2025.
